Photo Restoration & Manipulation
Bring life back to damaged photographs!

As a photoshop expert, I spend a lot of my time digitally 'remastering' photographs by either fixing damage, or altering composition. If you have faded, cracked, torn, stained, or otherwise ruined photographs, give me a call or send an email.

I work with full resolution images, scanning your original, remastering, and re-printing on high resolution photograph printers for a brand new heirloom sure to last generations. You will also be provided with extremely high resolution digital copies (around 100 Mb) suitable for re-printing in large formats at a later time.

The Group Photo

This is a classic scenario. Resources are pooled, personnel are gathered, the light is right and that once in a lifetime group photograph is committed to film. Undoubtedly, after everyone has parted ways, something undesirable will surface. In this case, two gentleman have broken from conformity, one wearing a distracting t-shirt, the other still wearing his sunglasses. After manipulation, the t-shirt is replaced by the company polo, and the sunglasses have carefully removed.

Colorization

An interesting technique, called colorization, is demonstrated below. This is where I examine a black and white photograph, extrapolate data from the surroundings and time period, and make some assumptions on the original colors now represented by hues of gray. These colors are reinserted into the photograph, brining an old photograph new life.

Restoration

In what is probably the most useful application of this technology, photo restoration is the process removing damage from a photograph.

Visualization

What I find to be one of the best uses of photo manipulation, is photo-realistic visualization. Below, an exisiting building is altered with new paint and facade elements as well as the prospective businesses signage. These techniques are useful in a number of situations, and can help tremedously when making high dollar investments in cosmetic changes.
